Personal Support Services
Personal Supports provide assistance and training to the individual in activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and preparation of meals. When specified in the support plan, this service may also include housekeeping chores such as bed making, dusting, vacuuming, and assistance with laundry, shopping, and cooking, which are essential to the health and welfare of the individual.
Respite Care
Respite Care is a service that provides supportive care and supervision to individuals when the primary caregiver is unable to perform their duties. This service is generally used due to a brief planned or emergency absence, or when the primary caregiver is available.
Life Skills
Life Skills Development—Level 1 (formerly Companion) services consist of nonmedical care, supervision, and socialization activities provided to adults. This service must be provided in direct relation to the achievement of the individual’s goals per the individual’s support plan. The service provides access to community-based activities. MEANINGFUL DAY
Supported Living
Supported Living services is to provide the necessary support for individuals to establish, reside in, and maintain their own homes by providing training and assistance to individuals with abilities, helping them achieve their goals of living as independently as possible. While fully integrating into their communities. An individual may receive Supported Living Coaching and/or Personal Supports under the umbrella of Supported Living services.
